Congratulations to Tess & Vernon – in a new survey out today they have been voted the nation’s favourite celebrity couple.

The survey pointed towards the couple’s ‘Englishness’  as the root of their success They even managed to beat out  the Beckhams who only managed 3% of the vote compared to Tess & Vernon’s 19%.

The survey was conducted by weareengland.co.uk who also announced that Winston Churchill was the nation’s favourite English Citizen, Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding the favourite dish.
