Vernon takes on Room 101

Vernon is plunging three of his least favourite items into Room 101 on Friday 14th February.

He’ll be joined by interior designer Kelly Hoppen MBE and comedian Miles Jupp for the third series of the hit show, hosted by Frank Skinner.

Other guests for the new series include Michael Ball, Melanie C, Dave Myers, Ruby Wax, Bruno Tonioli, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Sue Perkins.

The concept of Room 101, the most awful place in the universe, was created by author George Orwell as a torture chamber in his classic novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. Famously he named Room 101 after a meeting room at BBC Broadcasting House.

“A new series, a new batch of irate celebrities and a new assortment of pet hates and bugbears,” says Frank Skinner.  “I’d say it’s a whinge-whinge situation.”

But what will Vernon send down? You’ll just have to wait and find out!

Watch Vernon’s Room 101 appearance on BBC One, Friday 14th February at 8.30pm.
